Nàni is the name of Otello Ceci's sparkling wine that he dedicated to his children, Bruno and Giovanni, the ones who gave Cantine Ceci its identity.

Nàni is a wine that surprises for its original and precious flavour.

Tasting notes

Colour: Yellow - Pale yellow, with an elegant appearance and persistent pearl.
Aroma: Intense, full and aromatic. Notes of citrus offer light and elegant hints of toastiness, while the presence of white fruit broadens the Chardonnay's character profile and, in Ceci's experience, gives this wine unique expressions.
Flavour: Nani Otello Ceci brut is a Chardonnay that beyond the classic profile of verticality, gives notes of greater complexity thanks also to the passage in wood. Citrus fruit flavours give us subtle sensations and hints that this is an amazing wine.

Pairing:

It is an ideal accompaniment for aperitifs.
It is excellent for enhancing traditional charcuterie.
It moves nimbly when paired with fish dishes, shellfish, preferably raw.

In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma.

Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of local producers.

His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar.

Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
