Ceci 1938 enhances two gifts of the earth: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Two characters that complement each other in union giving the best flavours of their nature to each other's characteristics.

The talent of these two grape varieties is expressed through harmony, freshness and flavour, fruity and floral notes through structure and elegance.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Pale straw yellow with elegant and fine pearl.
Bouquet: The citrus and tropical hints of the Chardonnay are perfectly linked in identity and complexity, with light floral and fruity notes of Pinot Noir worked in white. Scents of elegance and class to the olfactory sense.
Palate: Immediate freshness and good flavour, boosted from the touch of acidity, we find citrus and vegetal notes accompanying an elegant and persistent finish.

Pairing:

Fresh and savoury.
The citrus notes and floral blandness are in full balance, also thanks to the balance of alcohol content.
The drink seduces, and the finish has a harmonious close reminiscent of hints of dried fruit.

In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma.

Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of local producers.

His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar.

Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
