Description
Princess Paste is a sugar paste specially made for modelling, with a wide range of use and an intense white colour.
Pack 2.5 kg.
Characteristics:
Thanks to its special formula, based on cocoa butter, it is ideal both for making decorations and for coating confectionery.
Princess Paste differs from other types of sugar pastes by a higher consistency and elasticity, being very suitable for making flowers, decorative prints and decorations or 3D figurines.
Having a high degree of elasticity, it can be spread in very thin layers.
It is optimal for coating products and due to its excellent moisture resistance.
It has a distinctive white chocolate flavour and aroma.
Usage:
The paste has the ideal consistency to be used immediately, but for easy modelling it needs to be prepared in advance.
Take the desired amount from the packet and knead gently, by hand or with a planetary mixer (with hook or paddle) at low speed, for enough time to soften the dough. Alternatively, heat the dough carefully in a microwave oven on low power for a few seconds until the desired consistency is obtained.
Close the packaging carefully after each use!
Making decorations: mould the paste by hand or with silicone moulds.
Coating cakes or other products:
Spread the paste to the desired thickness. If necessary, you can sprinkle a thin layer of starch or powdered sugar on the work surface. When coating the products, pay particular attention to ensure that the paste adheres well to all product surfaces.
Colouring Princess paste
It can be coloured
- in the mass, using gel colourants;
- on the surface, using airbrush or brush and food colouring.
In order to obtain the best mass colouring results, it is necessary to apply the gel colourant to a small part of the paste and then incorporate it into the rest of the paste.
Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, cocoa butter, rice starch, humectant: glycerol, flavourings, thickening agent: xanthan gum. The product may contain traces of milk, nuts and sulphites.
