Description
Ready-prepared sugar paste, specially made for modelling, with a wide range of use and an intense white colour.
Quantity and Packaging: Quantity 5 kg, packed in four individual units of 1.25 kg each.
Characteristics:
- Thanks to its special formula, based on cocoa butter, it is ideal both for making decorations and for coating confectionery products.
- It does not contain palm oil or other hydrogenated fats or genetically modified organisms.
- The perfect consistency and elasticity of the product, conferred by the cocoa butter content, recommend this product for multiple uses: sugar paste flowers, handmade 3D subjects or figurines; decorations made with silicone moulds or cutters.
- It is also optimal for coating products due to its excellent moisture resistance.
- With a high degree of elasticity, it can be spread in very thin layers.
- It has a distinctive white chocolate flavour and aroma.
Usage:
- The paste has the ideal consistency to be used immediately, but for easy modelling it needs to be prepared in advance.
- Take the desired amount from the packet and knead gently, by hand or with a planetary mixer (with hook or paddle) at low speed, for sufficient time to soften the dough.
- Alternatively, heat the dough carefully in a microwave oven on low power for a few seconds until the desired consistency is obtained. Close the packaging carefully after each use!
- Covering cakes or other products: Spread the paste to the desired thickness.
- If necessary, you can sprinkle a thin layer of starch or powdered sugar on the work surface.
- When coating the products, pay particular attention to ensure that the paste adheres well to all product surfaces.
Colouring the paste
It can be coloured:
- in the mass, using gel-type food colourants;
- by brush application, on surfaces or decorations, of powdered or gel food colouring agents, solid or diluted with a little food alcohol, water or oil (depending on the type of colouring agent);
- by airbrush application of liquid, water-soluble or fat-soluble food colourants on surfaces or decorations.
Storage: In dry and cool places (max. 20°C), in the original packaging or in hermetically sealed thick foil bags (with light and air barrier), from which the air will be removed; only in this way the paste will keep its organoleptic characteristics.
