Decantation is the immediate experience of beauty, of the unexpected, of a perspective that places wine at a new angle.
This proposal surprises us and, changing the image of a bottle of wine, places its contents inside a special inclination: 68.2 degrees, with a shape that imitates a decanter. Inside is Barbera dell'Emilia, a wine with, elegant and complex character.

Tasting notes:
- Colour: Ruby red
- Bouquet: Deep ripe fruit and cherry flavours, offering spicy sensations and balsamic notes gently carrying us towards special hints.
- Flavour: Warm and moderate. The ripe red fruit is reconfirmed on the palate. The decisive freshness and the evident but not intrusive tannins constitute an elegant balance with a slightly spicy and vegetal finish that is long and persistent.
- PAIRING: The perfect match is with meat dishes with good structure, such as venison, roasted meats, braised meats and grilled meats. It's excellent synch with soaked cheeses, but combines perfectly with flavour-rich first courses.
In 1938, my grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma. Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of the local producers. His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar. Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
