Antico Bruscone is an intense wine because that is both its nature and its character. It is a Lambrusco, it reminds us of it in mouth, nose and heart. Tasting notes:
Colour: Ruby red.
Nose: Intense and deep fruity with notes of cherries and wild berries. Spicy notes and floral sensations of rose and violet can be appreciated.
Palate: The obvious and pleasant entry of tannins, freshness and a warming sensation are well balanced thanks to the flavours. The not too long finish invites you to drink.
Pairing: Typical and very versatile wine, thanks to the limited residual sugar, it loves appetisers based on cured meats and traditional Italian cheeses of medium maturation. It pairs well with red and white meat due to its discreetness, tannic contribution and good freshness.

In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma. Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of the local producers.

His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was turned into a wine cellar.

Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
