Description

"I want people to say about my work: 'feel deeply, feel tenderly'." (V. Van Gogh)

Tenderness and depth are the two souls of this wine. The aromatic depth of the Malvasia di Candia variety, the delicacy of the residual sugar, gives this structure not only flavour, but also a broad and richly nuanced sensation, enhanced by freshness and carbon dioxide. We remember this wine by its very nature, being able to complement a dish or find new forms of pairing, whereby flavour becomes a sense of memory.

Tasting notes:

  • Colour: Straw yellow with golden reflections.
  • Aroma: Intense and aromatic. Rich in aromas reminiscent of dried fruit, white flowers and honey.
  • Flavour: Sensations of sweetness and freshness are complemented in the mouthfeel which is very well integrated by carbon dioxide. Notes of ripe fruit and floral softness give the aftertaste an inviting aftertaste.
  • Pairing: Savoured with informal desserts served by the spoonful, it is excellent paired with homemade cakes and dry pastries. It is worth experimenting with shellfish and fish in a spicy sauce or with mature cheeses.
In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma. Here, while savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of the local producers.
His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was turned into a wine cellar.
Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family business in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
The price shown does not include the 50 bani fee to guarantee the return of the packaging.
