Tasting notes:

Colour: Red - Bright ruby red colour Smell: Dark red fruits, cherries and plums, give deep sensations that make the aroma of this wine recognised and appreciated.
Flavour: The taste buds receive velvety sensations thanks to the unmistakable fruit blend.
Pairing: Ideal with cold meats and sausages. It is a sparkling wine with a moderate sugar residue that manages to find its space with meat and side dishes of the Emilian tradition.

In 1938, my grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine area, just outside Parma.

Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of local producers.

His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar.

Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
