Tasting notes:
Colour: Ruby red.
Aroma: Intense and vinous. Entrance of red fruits, such as cherry and black cherry, with sweet spicy sensations leading to a finish in which perfumed floral and slightly vegetal notes are appreciated.
Palate: The discreet tannic texture is well harmonised with decisive freshness and pleasant aroma. Fruity, floral and spicy notes lead to a long and intriguing finish.
Pairing: Pairs well with traditional cured meats. The sweetness and moderate alcohol content pair well with medium fatty fish. Ideal to finish the meal with pastries, dried or wild fruit tarts.

In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma. Here, while savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of the local producers.

His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar.

Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
