Description

It is said that Acetaia Terre Verdiane was born when the Master tasted his own vinegar, and while discussing a certain cask with his friends, they decided to try it at a gourmet dinner: the pleasantly sour taste and unique texture made the guests fall in love.
We've been offering this little gem ever since.
Country of origin: Italy
Appellation of origin: Balsamic Condiment
Type: Balsamic Vinegar
Varietal: Malvasia, Lambrusco, Trebbiano
Density ( 20˚C): Min 1.32 %
Acidity: Min 4.5 %
Volume: 0.200 litres
Maturation: minimum 12 years in barrels made of different woods (Oak, Chestnut, Cherry, Ash, Juniper, Juniper and Salcam) so that the vinegar can take on the complex flavours of the barrels.
Tasting notes:
  • Colour: Bright intense brown with amber reflections.
  • Aroma: Intense, satisfying, with lingering balsamic and ripe fruit notes.
  • Taste: Bittersweet, well-balanced, intense and delicate with fruit and wood flavours with typical cooked must acidity.
  • Pairing: Given the excellent balance between density and acidity, the sugars are the perfect touch to different dishes, able to enhance its qualities. It goes well with grilled meats and vegetables, but also raw dishes; the combination is outstanding with soaked cheeses, especially Parmigiano-Reggiano.
In 1938, grandfather Otello Ceci ran one of the most famous trattorie in the lower Po wine-growing area, just outside Parma.
Here, savouring the typical dishes of the Parmesan tradition, the Messinesi tasted the famous Lambrusco that Otello produced from the best grapes of the local producers.
His sons, Bruno and Giovanni, were the first to realise that this Lambrusco deserved a great success: in the 1960s, the tavern was transformed into a wine cellar.
Today, his grandchildren Alessandro, Maria Teresa, Maria Paola, Elisa and Chiara run a family-run company in his spirit, but exporting wine all over the world, helping to define a new standard for Lambrusco's recognition.
The price shown does not include the 50 bani fee to guarantee the return of the packaging.
